In short, we think the Peace Hotel is one of the better modestly priced hotels in Manila and the best we’ve seen in Binondo. There are budget hotels closer to Ongpin Street (such as the Manila Chinatown and the First Hotel) but they are not as nice as the Peace Hotel.
